The matrix of links immediately below is a set of aligned PATTERN RECOGNITION ACTIVITIES from our site with HSD CURRICULUM activities. We also include some intermingled DESMOS explorations and various tutorial links. All documents include a PICTURE of the PATTERN and a GLOBAL LIST of potential CONTENT TOPICS which could be supported. No more guessing what goes with what, and where to find it! Don't forget to initially engage the students in 5-10 minutes of discourse with our DISCOURSE DO NOWS to help build the capacity and mindset for "open middled" exploration and struggle which should include rationale building and critical analysis leading to a group consensus. For a DEEPER DIVE try our DOK DRILL DOWNS which are organized by Grade Level, Domain, and Standard. Get students thinking thru the struggle and supporting notions with rationale.
