 as a standard expectationThese resources are best used in numerical order.  The design and pedagogy supports growth of NUMERACY and discourse skills within students.  Of course these skills will also SUPPORT later content knowledge and critical thinking skills, far beyond the scope of these assignments.  

All of these activities are a single slide without a firm TIME components or singular ENDING point which must be achieved.  You can ue these one slode at a time or a whole class activity with multiple slides.  These are ALL open ended (in some form) activities meant to encourage and support the DISCOURSE CULTURE within the room as a standard daily expectation.  

Doing SOME discourse every day (as a Do Now or other SHORT activity) is critical to integrating discourse into your CONTENT lessons as a regular part of the learning cycle.  Extending this to a daily routine enhance self advocacy and rationale development in students.
